Since its foundation the Cerâmica Almeida always had a great preoccupation with the environment and its protection. Today there is a green conscience incorporated to the culture of the company.

All the sectors works for the best efficiency and utilization of the resources avoiding wastes, re-being of use which sometime ago was just trash (in the own trial) and in this way collaborating with the nature.

Today we work taking advantage of all the solid and liquids residues inside of our own productive trial.  We also take advantage of the heat generated in the kilns in other phases of the trial.  In this way we are contributing for a minor burn of flammable fossils generating less atmospheric pollution and less global heating.
